Chapter 7 · Free companion instrument
Twenty-four items. Six weighted dimensions. About forty minutes if you are honest, and twelve if you are not — which is itself a result.
Score evidence, not confidence. For every item the question is not “could I do this?” It is “have I done this, and could I describe the specific instance to a stranger for four minutes?” If you reach for a hypothetical, the answer is 0.
Nobody scores full marks. Working FDEs four years in do not score full marks. This instrument finds your constraint; it does not award a grade.
Assume you are two points per dimension too generous. Almost everyone’s first pass is. You are unlikely to be the exception.

Your weakest dimension as a share of its weight — not your lowest raw number — is —. Work on that one alone. Re-score in ninety days, not sooner; below that you are measuring mood.
